I'm Beth.

 

I'm that person you get to review your important email before sending, the one who looks over your job application and gives you another word for "collaboration". I'm also the one who is silently correcting your Facebook statuses, rubbing out errant apostrophes on chalkboards and using a semi-colon correctly in text messages.

 

A life-long reader and lover of words, I have a passion for correct spelling and grammar and a creative flair that lends itself to document production and creative content, leading to the founding of Writemate in 2016.

 

I have over 20 years of experience working in roles that have included word processing operator, court reporter, executive assistant and business development coordinator. I have a wealth of experience in writing for business; including technical specifications, proposals, reports and communications. I also write freelance articles, have edited books and blog regularly at AlmostPosh.com.

 

I work mainly in Microsoft programs for ease of accessibility and document sharing. I also have experience with the Mac operating system and applications. Just don't ask me about LaTeX.

Bridie Ward

I'm Bridie.

 

I'm that person you ask to check over your website to make sure it not only looks nice but it functions well too, I'm the one who answers your online marketing questions and gently reminds you that you want to 'lose' 10 kilos, not 'loose' them.

 

I'm an analytical-minded marketing and communications person with experience across politics, defence, engineering and oil & gas industries. I have a passion for all things intranet, SharePoint and websites and have over 10 years of experience in all facets of marketing and communications, including:

Ruth Palmer

I'm Ruth.

Based in Darwin, I'm the person you ask for local services if you're based in the NT. I'm the one who can design you a flyer, write you an advertorial and take the photos at your wedding.

I'm passionate and motivated. I have successfully operated my own business ReVaMPed while maintaining full-time employment as a senior policy advisor to the Chief Minister, then Leader of the Opposition in the Northern Territory government and am currently the Northern Territory's Executive Director of the Property Council of Australia.

 

With over 15 years of experience across politics, recruitment, engineering, health and most recently the property sector, I have a strong background in developing policies, procedures, speech-writing, media releases, submissions, freelance writing and advertorials.

 

As a photographer and publisher, I am also well-versed in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator and have produced advertising copy, brochures, flyers, posters and company logos as well as photographing for Darwin-based publications and businesses. I am also an experienced portrait and wedding photographer, accredited by the Australian Institute of Professional Photography.
